This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Yates-American J-170 12" Variable Speed Wood Lathe Instructions and Parts Manual. Brodhead-Garrett bought the rights in the 1960s to sell this lathe for vocational purposes, but Yates-American still manufactured the lathe. This manual contains information on electrical wiring diagrams, maintenance, adjustments, operations, and controls. It also contains exploded view diagrams of all the parts for the lathe.

I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find. My manuals are not photocopies.
