This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Sheldon XL Series 10" Lathe Operation and Parts Manual. This is an excellent parts manual. It is laid out very well and organized. This manual has some of the best parts diagrams I have seen.

The front cover is from the original manual and the manual is complete. However, the older gearbox pictured on the lathe to the right below is not covered and was left out of this manual by Sheldon. This manual is helpful on the older version, and it does cover the older cabinet, plus many of the parts haven't changed from the older version to the newer model. But for some reason Sheldon just did not include information on the older gearbox.

Overview

I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly.
